Lisa Edelstein was an American actress, best known for her role as the main character of Fox's House medical drama. Following her upbringing by conservative Jews in Wayne, New York City was where she set her sights to study theater at Tisch. Soon after, she was involved with club culture and caused enough of a stir to draw the attention of the media. Then, she combined her talents and fame her writing skills and composition abilities to create a show called Positive Me. Soon after she was employed by MTV to be the host of Awake on the Wild Side. After the show ended the show, she began appearing on the film and television industry, at first in small roles, and slowly established her acting career.
