Lucy-Liu

Lucy Liu is an American actor, voice actress, director producer and singer. She's attractive and skilled actress that has inspired many Asian actors to achieve success in Hollywood. A series of successful early performances in popular TV series made her popular for her role in the show of Ally McBeal, where she was Ling Woo. She translated her newfound fame into roles for the big screen, in Shanghai Noon, Charlie's Angels as well as other movies. Her next performance was a dazzling performance in the role of Japanese criminal O-Ren Ishii as QT's Kill Bill Volume 1. She also played leading roles in box office failures like Rise: Blood Hunter. Following that, she began to play characters that were prominent in animation films such as Kung Fu Panda. Mia Mason from Cashmere Mafia was an unimportant role which did not have any effect. A recurring role in the critically-acclaimed police drama series Southland helped re-establish herself as an established actress. Liu chooses her roles with care so that she doesn't become a typecast character in this competitive industry. While she's been embracing her heritage, she hasn't let them hinder her creativity.
